As a social worker, you will provide support, counseling, case management, and community development, advocating for social change to create a more socially just society. Using principles of social justice, human rights, and respect for diversity you will be promoting social change and empowerment.
With the Bachelor of Social Work, you will gain the knowledge and practical skills required to work with individuals, families, groups, and communities in a safe and inclusive way with those in crisis, or impacted by poverty and social disadvantage.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Social Work qualify for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) membership.
