Q2 What types of visas can meet the requirements for PR pathways (189,191)?

A: Subclass 457, 482, 485 can meet this requirement.

Q3 When is the time counted for subclass 189 & 191 living requirements?

A: It counted on the date when your eligible visa (457, 482, 485) was granted.  

Q4 What are courses can be eligible to apply for five years 485 visa?

A: VET or Higher Education (Bachelor/Master) courses can be eligible for this requirement. 

Q5 Do I need to meet visa point requirements or $53900 annual income requirements?

A: If you apply for a subclass 189 visa it does not require any conditions. However, if you apply for a 191 visa you may require to meet the annual income requirements.

Q6 What if I have already applied for a 485 visa?

A: Eligible applicants can apply for a 482 visa, either on the long-term list or the short-term list to get 5 years 482 visa.

Q7 If I am over 40 years old, can I still be eligible to apply for a 485 visa?

A: You are still eligible to apply for a 485 visa. However, your age needs to be under 50 years old when you finish your study.

Q8 If I want to bring my family members to apply the PR pathway, are there any age limitations for a child?

A: The Department of Home Affairs has not published any requirements for child age.  

Q9 When I apply for my PR do I need to have a skill assessment?

A: No, you don’t require to have a skill assessment.

Q10 When I apply for my PR is there any English requirement?

A: We recommend you to have IELTS overall 4.5 when you apply for your visa. Otherwise, you might need to pay for an English course.
